How to help prevent your thread from twisting while you work.
When you do your stitching of the design and put yourneedle from the top to the botton your thread naturally twists.  You can do one of two things, you can let your needle hang down and unwind on its own, or what I do, look to see which way the twist is and slowly twist your needle the opposite way between your thumb and finger until the twist is removed.  Denise

A time saver.
I always use 2 needles for each color.  By doing this I can thread both needles right away when I seperate my floss,  I then do not have to look to see where  the other piece went, I know its not possible but mine always seems to grow feet and moves on me, then when I have used up the first piece I just take the second needle and continue on.  Denise

I always use a needle for each color, that way when I switch colors I don't have to unthread  and rethread needles all the time. Deb
